- Developing a long-term working relationship with each client, the client's family members, and other professionals
- Building each individual's daily living skill
- Providing emotional support and assisting in decision making
- Monitoring the client's finances and teaching the client the skills of budgeting
- Monitoring the client healthcare, education, nutrition and psychotropic med medication
- Providing 24 hours emergency care to clients
- Creating plans to address client vulnerabilities
